We are working to better understand the causes of premenstrual dysphoric disorder, also known as PMDD.
To help us with this important work, we need people with PMDD to share their experiences by participating in our research.
The overall aim of our research is to find out more about the causes of PMDD. We study how genetic and environmental factors interact and make some women and people assigned female at birth (AFAB) more likely than others to develop PMDD.
We hope that a better understanding of the disease mechanisms will lead to better prevention and management strategies.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who continues to give their time to participate in our studies – without their help, the research simply would not happen.
Together we can make a difference
