NCMH Research Community

At the National Centre for Mental Health (NCMH), we are building a vibrant and inclusive research community to better understand and improve mental health.

By collecting information from as many people as possible, aged 16 and over, we hope to understand why some people experience mental health problems. This will help us improve diagnosis, treatment, and support for everyone.

We would like you to join us. Your views and experiences can make a real difference.

Shape the future of mental health care

If you choose to take part, we will ask you to complete an online questionnaire. It will ask about you, your mental and physical health, and lifestyle to help us answer important research questions.

By joining, you also become a part of the NCMH Research Community. This means you will:

  • Be invited to take part in future mental health research that is important to you.
  • Get updates about the latest research, news, and breakthroughs in mental health.
  • Hear about upcoming events.

We welcome people from all backgrounds – whatever your age, wherever you live, whether you have ever experienced mental ill health or not.
