NCMH Online Study

Take part in our main research study and help us understand the causes of mental health problems. Whether you’ve experienced mental illness or not, you can help us make a difference.

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder

This study aims to better understand the causes of premenstrual dysphoric disorder, also known as PMDD.

Maternal wellbeing, mental health, and life experiences

Open to anyone who is currently pregnant or has given birth within the last 12 months. This survey looks at life experiences, as well as physical and mental wellbeing.

Mums and Mental Health

We are trying to understand more about the causes and triggers of severe mental illness during pregnancy and following childbirth.

Traumatic experiences study

We are trying to understand more about trauma, experienced as a child and in adulthood, and its impact on mental health.
