Medication information

Medication is one of a variety of treatments you might be offered if you are given a mental health diagnosis. There are many different kinds of medications available, and it can difficult to keep track of the different uses and possible side effects.

To support people to make informed choices, we are providing free access to Mental Health and Medication Wales, a website containing information about hundreds of commonly used mental health medications.

This free service provides information about mental health conditions and answers important questions about different types of medication, e.g. about side effects and interactions with other medication, food and drink.

The website is endorsed by The College of Mental Health Pharmacy, and the independent and quality assured content is written by specialist pharmacists and based on best available evidence.
