Giving you ‘Piece of Mind’: relaunching our mental health podcast

We’re excited to announce the new series of our Piece of Mind: Mental Health & Psychiatry podcast - where we explore the latest mental health research and the powerful personal stories shaping it.

Hosted by the National Centre for Mental Health, each episode brings together researchers, clinicians, and people with lived experience to have honest, accessible conversations about mental health.

Over two series we’ve brokendown complex topics and connected the latest mental health research with real-world insights. We’ve discussed a variety of important topics, including:

  • Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (cPTSD)
  • ADHD in girls and women
  • Premenstrual Disphoric Disorder (PMDD) and mental health

Coming up

Due to popular demand, and reaching our 76,657th download, we’re bringing you six new episodes on:

  • MDMA-assisted therapy for treatment-resistant PTSD
  • Cognition and mental health
  • Advanced choice documents: making decisions for when we’re unwell
  • What it’s like to experience psychosis
  • Support for young people who experience psychosis in Wales
  • Bipolar disorder and suicide

You can find Piece of Mind on Spotify, Apple podcasts and Acast.

We’re passionate about making mental health research more inclusive and impactful – and we believe that sharing experiences is a vital part of that mission.
