Last Chance Saloon trailer online now

A trailer for Last Chance Saloon, a series of short films on mental health created by the Wellcome Trust and featuring several of NCMH’s Principal Investigators, is now available online.

The online series follows Neil “Twink” Tinning, formerly the official photographer for 1980s mod band The Jam, as he embarks on a year-long journey to understand mental illness while recording an album and performing live for the first time with his own band.

The first two parts of the series will be released tomorrow (11th March) on the Wellcome Trust’s new website Mosaic, which is dedicated to explaining and exploring the science of life. The rest of the series will then be released in weekly installments.

The final episode in May will be followed by a special screening event in Cardiff to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week 2014.
