Join our patient and public involvement celebration

Working together for better brain health will celebrate the vital role that public and patient involvement (PPI) groups play in research. We are organising the event in collaboration with Brain Repair and Intracranial Neurotherapeutics (BRAIN) Unit.

Are you free on Saturday 20 April?

Working together for better brain health will celebrate the vital role that public and patient involvement (PPI) groups play in research. We are organising the event in collaboration with Brain Repair and Intracranial Neurotherapeutics (BRAIN) Unit.

PPI groups bring researchers and members of the public together to ensure that voices of lived experience actively shape and inform the direction of research so that outcomes are more reliable, more relevant, and more likely to be used to improve health and social care services.

Throughout the day, we’ll be hearing about the importance of PPI partnerships from researchers and group members involved with the NCMH and BRAIN unit.

You’ll also have the chance take part in our fun, interactive brain activity stands, and have your say on what public involvement in research means to you.

This event is open to the public, not just health professionals and people with an interest in brain health research, and is a great way to learn more about the different ways getting involved in research.
